I needed a pipe wrench to bite into the rounded off drain plug on my SPG. I also needed a pipe for torque. When I ordered a pile of filters and washers from eeuroparts I also picked up 2 new drain plugs. Now I stick to stock torque spec and it's simple to get off for the next oil change. I just need a socket and rachet or breaker bar. No pipes.
Bottom line, order a pack of washers and filters, and get one new drain plug. You can destroy the current one getting it out. Use a 6 point socket, too.
Anyone on here ever tried a Metwrench / Mitwrench?
Randy
