yup, I do so I can fit my surfboard in the car (99 Viggen 2 door) - I'm 5'11" and I can get the drivers seat to my normal driving position. However my normal driving position is more upright and much closer to the wheel than most people. Some time ago I did one of those advanced driving courses and the instructor demonstrated the recommended position - you should be able to put your wrists on the wheel while your shoulders are hard up against the seatback - so I tried it - at first it was weird and I kept winding the seat back but after a while I got used to it and it's way better - more comfortable on long trips due to having a straight back and the mirrors seem to be more effective- I suppose 'cause you're closer to them or better geometry or something. But having said that, I wouldn't want to try to drive my car with the seats down if I was over 6 foot.
You do have to squash the seat back a bit too. It's a little surprising that it's such a tight fit - same on the 4 door too, my neighbour has a 4 door 900SE and it's no different to my car WRT folding the seats down except for the seat belt mounting bar thing.
