They are wonderfully quiet, smooth, and AWESOME in the rain. They dont handle quite as sharp as my RE730's, but the RE's were SO LOUD I could not stand them. I extensively researched these tires on the tirerack's owner's review section. It came down to this...these are the best tires money can buy for the 900/9-3...
S03 - Ultimate for max performance - 150.00
Mich. Pilot Sport - same - 163.00
Dunlop SP 9000 - damn near as good in the dry, but better in the wet, quietest of all - 125.00
None of these tires are good for much over 30,000 mi., and none are good in the snow. If you live where it rains much - go with the Dunlops. It came down to price with me as my car has 100k on it. I am very happy with the SP9000.
