Several recent posts have complained about service and its cost at Saab dealers. I see that Saab dealers have the 3rd highest customer satisfaction rate. Some of them must be doing something right. The fees quoted on this BB seem amazingly high when compared to what I am paying. Are these real dealer fees or just your “guess-timates”? I see quotes of $250 for 10K-mile service & $400 - $800 for 30K-mile service at dealers. Ouch! Someone using an independent shop quoted $100 for 10K-mile and $450 for 30K-mile. Still an ouch!

Just had my 10K-mile service at a Saab dealer for $89.95. The 30K & 90K mile service is $299.95, and 60K and 120K mile was just increased to $420.00 (previously $399.95). These are printed prices not verbal estimates! Are those other prices for real? Can the difference from dealer to dealer be that large?
