'99 9-3 CD Changer

Ok, OK, I know, this has been posted a million times already, still, no real good answer.
I drive one of the early '98 9-3 convertibles, built in '98.
I pulled out the headunit, it says Clarion on it. The CD-Changer wiring is attached to one of the ISO connectors. Looks like a two wire bus for CD-changer communication. No seperate DIN CD Changer connector as shown for some of the older models (on Richard Bevan's excellent site).
In the trunk I found a rectangular connector, ISO style, all the same wires plus a power and a ground lead.
So, here is the obvious question: Will the Clarion Changer (e.g. Clarion DC625 ) work after I make an adapter from ISO to DIN ? And, does anyone know the pinout of Clarion's DIN connectors? Did anyone try?
I am a little reluctant to spend $160 for a changer and maybe blow it up in the process of connecting it.
Thanks for your help!
