The problem with, in a few years, getting the hood or even front half of the car painted is that the rear half of the car will eventually be a few years more faded than the front. So, to get a seriously good paint job, you would want to paint the entire car. If anyone else has other opinions I would like to hear them as I have an '01 Viggen and have a few chips myself, so this will be an issue eventually. The Viggen is my dream car, so while I will definitely test drive an '03 Aero ASAP, I will keep this car at least 10 years, or until it just becomes too expensive to maintain, or too much of a PITA to own. I don't expect that, but that's the only thing that would make me get rid of it.
By the way, I can't wait to see what SAAB has to offer in about 10 years! Hopefully not a rebadged Chevrolet . . . 8^)
