lol - I wasn't trying to start anything here. I actually have volunteered at homeless shelters in the city here and stuff. my thinking is that he isn't likely to really care what I have to say to him about my car since he has his own concerns at hand.
as for the survival issue - that is a moot point, they can easily survive (again, I have worked in a shelter - the resources are there for them if they seek them out) - but like someone else alluded to, there is usually a reason they are homeless, not by choice, but addiction or mental illness.
anyway, no matter, just was asking a question about scratches - whether they came from a drunk homeless man that wanders my street or from my neighbor, it is hard to say and likely doesn't matter since they are there until I pay to have them fixed.
