Good to hear some humour on this board from Dean. I quite agree that the SO3's are the way to go. In the UK they are much more than $127 but I won't use anything else. The SO2's were a good tire but they didn't last long. The SO3's I have now have done 7k and are still in really good shape so it looks like life on them is about 50% + longer than the SO2's.
We are lucky in the UK we don't get snow that settle for more than 1 or 2 days a year. Also don't forget about the wet weather capability of SO3's they perform much better than almost anything in the wet even if you have 300hp+ on the front tires.
