I have had a similar experience. Love the car.. but I am now sensitive to the little things that may turn out to be expensive. My center display is crazy.. resetting itself to Jan 1 at Noon...or showing random pixels out... and I noticed a few plastic trim things are broken inside the car.. like the bezel for the seat controls on the dirver's side.
Gary Small Saab here in Portland has been totally cool.. and they will replace this display under warranty.. I came from a subaru... not exciting..a driving appliance... but nothing wrong.. ever. I am just conscious of all the things that will be very expensive once the warranty is out. (My friend has a new Mercedes SLK 230 AMG... his son took the garden hose and washed out the inside of the car!!! Soaked the dashboard and all the instruments... They replaced the entire dashboard under warranty... lucky for him, could you imagine??)
Squeaks and rattles happen. I think that is an inherent issue of a convertible with such a big and open top.
Keep the faith.. Just drop the top and step on it sometime.. you'll remember why you did it...
