Same thing happened to me, although some really dishonest service guy did it to my car, then epoxied it back together (Probably did it during the AM radio reception/antenna replacement job). Sure that worked for a period of time, but then, about 3 weeks ago, it got *really* hot here and the trim (i would say this is the C-pillar cover) just sagged down and the truth was exposed.
