I have noticed severe power loss, when operating my AC, under load at low RPM. I know what it feels like to lose some HP when AC compressor is running and I also know when I need to downshift but this is not the same and I was wondering if anyone else has had same problem. It seems to happen only after the AC has been on for and hr. or more and it feels like the engine is actually missing like it's not getting right air/fuel combination when it happens. I would add it almost feels like detonation but without any pinging noise. I only use Sunoco 94 super unleaded and have done all major services so far as well as change oil every 5k. I have ITG filter and Viggen sport exhaust on my 2001 Viggen w/ 17k miles. Just to add, it almost feels like the turbo is not spooling-up when this occurs but I don't run my AC very often so it's only happened a few times. I am sure the dealer will say they can't find anything so I was hoping you guys could help me with this one.
