Can't decide between 16" or 17"Borbet B or Fox 5 17"

I had Borbet type E with 205/55-16 Dunlop SP5000 but they're going back to Tirerack since we can't balance them after a month and 4 sessions on a GSP9700. Excluding the out of round tire/wheel problem, the handling was not to my taste with those Dunlops except for the grip. The wheels looked good but I would like to avoid the shiny machined lip. (I know, i'm very conservative).
Now I'm looking at low budget 16" with BFG g-force or 17" with Sumitomo HTR all seasons tires. Borbet B or FOX 5 ? 16 or 17"?
I 've made a search and read some bad comments about 17" Borbets, what about the Fox 5?
Any input would be great.
Eric.
