HP is that you get in gears 3->5 at wide open throttle at 5500 RPMs. You don't spend much time there. You do spend a lot of time waiting for the boost that sometimes seems like it will never come. The objective of you tuning is to improve boost at lower RPMs and increase the responsiveness. Do that and HP will increase.
Note that vehcile with a more responsive turbo that dyno's at lower HP than an other vehicle, might walk all over the higher HP vehicle in day to day street service. Really high HP turbo engines with 8.0 compresion ratios will be great on the dyno and on the drag strip, but will be dogs on the street unless the clutch is abused all of the time, and will be very inefficient (low mpgs).
You adjust the ECU mapping by getting your ECU modified or swapped. $450 and up.
You need to be running NGK BCPR6ES11's gapped to .039". 0.35" works well and provides for good running and longer service between gapping. If you are running some strange plugs, that could very easily be your problem. You should have had them out to inpect and read, before posting. These are your window to whats going on inside.
You DI could be failing too. I see your model-year but not your miles.
That boost controller might work, but if it is a simple bleeder valve, there will still be boost lag. The BPC is a bleeder valve too. If that MBC is just a needle vavle and orifice, forget it. If it has a ball-spring type valve, it should work well.
Do all of the DIY mods, deans<underscore>list on the ng900 BB.
