...and it makes sense. I do get the feeling that one tire is doing all the work. Will consider the upgrade, along with the big rear sway bar at some point. Hard to justify that kind of $$, but I am of the school that says better performance gives you better safety, provided one is responsible enough not to abuse it. If later on I decide I want to do ECU or other performance upgrades, the VRK would probably be a safety prerequisite anyhow.
I noted that the '03 9-3 is coming with 215/50/16 (also P6000 SV on the ones I saw). Supposedly the wheels are interchangable. Think I'd notice a difference going a little bit wider? Probably help my dry, but make wet even worse, right?
B Flippo mentioned going for 17s (and man do I love the looks of the turbine spoke wheels), but I'm afraid that's just asking for bent wheels on good ol' Houston roads. Sigh, at least I don't have to worry about winter down here.
