I've had "issues" with my door locks. I had the chirping on my door locks turned off. Also, I have my auto-unlock (when I take the key out of the ignition) disabled, so everytime I exit my car, I have to unlock using the middle console switch. Anyways, I often "double lock" to make sure the doors are all locked. On one or two occasions, I would find my doors unlocked. (Nothing taken from the car...) One of those times, the doors was unlocked, but the alarms went off when I opened the door.
A few days ago, (as described in my last message) I (may have) left the doors and hatch unlocked to go get something from the house, and didn't come back for 1/2 hour. I say that I "may have" because I believe that I did, but not sure. Anyways, I tried opening the hatch without the unlocking with the remote (brain fart?), it opened (to my surprise). It also set off the alarm (to my bigger surprise!). I quickly pressed the unlock button on my key to stop it.
My other problem is that often, when I go open my door with the key unlock button, I find all 4 doors unlocked. I have it set to open only driver's door at 1st press. This problem is regular, but not reproducible.
