Think about it. The lease is through a financial corporation. They have a binding contract with you (offer, acceptance, consideration) and they will continue to receive the monthly payments until either the lease is over, or you default. Why would they give up guaranteed income just so that you can have a newer car? Auto makers come up with new models constantly, and I have never heard of them wanting to treat their customers nicely and allow them to get out of a lease to drive the new model. The most you will get is that they might buy you out of it a month or two early if they can keep your business by leasing you a new Saab. Maybe I just didn't understand your question properly, but from a legal and financial perspective, the answer is "hell no."
