but if Saab had put a 1 sentence disclaimer about being careful with 40 tires or whatever is in a viggen, then none of this would have happened.

Contrary to the flaming replies that some moron who thinks he/she is a genius will post to me, I'm not blaming Saab. Well, thats not entirely true. I DO blame Saab for 1)getting themselves into this mess and 2) actually managing to lose the suit.

But if you owned a car company, and you realized right after you lost a class action lawsuit that you could have avoided the whole thing, how would you feel? Exactly, like you had "MORON" tattooed on your forehead.

I just don't see anything wrong with realizing that there are idiots in the world and having foresight to deal with them. Remember, reality always has the last word, no matter how clever you think you are.
