Grade 5 might not hack it. But you will need to re-tighen once or twice at least. The paint in the bolted joint will be extruding which reduces the bolt preload. I had 10.9 metic 10mm flanged bolts and nuts so no washers were required. I suggest orienting the bar so that the flatter surface is down to get better support for the fastener. I used lots of loctite blue on the nuts that I had. I don't thing that nyloc nuts are really something that you want to use with high strength bolts.
When the axle twists, the ends of the sway bar want to rotate against axle. So asking the bolts to not allow any movement might be impossible. Remember how the stock sway bar had a vertical flattened section. That was to allow the bar to flex which largely de-coupled the bars vertial axis bending mode forces from the bolted joint. The SAS sway bar does not have this feature, so the joint may always want to move and creak.
With the flanged fasteners and not needing washers, 30 mm* bolts were perfect. The head was 14mm hex. I found these in the faster boxes at the hardware store. Search for my posts on this on the NG900 BB and you will find the proper torque for these bolts drs<underscore>install.
* thats 1 3/16", quite short.
