I've had only one transaction with the folks at Taliaferro but they seemed genuinely interested in helping me with any other requests in addition to my order. I too have owned a retail business that served an even smaller slice of the pie than Saab customers. It is SO important to project positive attitude toward your customers by phone, email or other means. If it was telephone attitude alone, they flat blow away my local dealer who always seems to have something more important waiting than me. Taliaferro's thanked me on the phone, followed up with an email and the product was delivered fast. That's alot of service for what I estimate to be less than a ten dollar profit on my order. Glad they don't equate the level of service with the amount you spend like many Saab dealers I have dealt with.
In the retail world, how many times have we all requested help and if the response is not scripted for the "sales associate" or answerable by pushing a button we're SOL?
Customer service is not a thing of the past, it is more important than ever.
My compliments to Nick and everyone at Taliaferro.
My two cents, and worth it at twice the price!...
