I agree with Wayne. I had the "real fix" done and everything seems fine. I really don't think you should stress about it. Go get it fixed right. I am sure they'll do a decent job. If something is not right, take it back. I am sure they'll correct it. If you keep the receipts and all. And I don't think Saab will continue to pay for the temp fix after warranty. Besides, the temp fix can brake at anytime and the could be dangerous if you can't defog your windshield while your driving. I have the same reservations about taking my SAAB in (to dealers) for such repairs. And I try to do everything myself (and with the wonderful site, a lot can be learned). But this job does require a lot of work and I think it important enough to take it to a dealer and get it done under warranty. Don't stress it.
