Not that uncommon a problem. It seems that no amount of hammering or kicking will get it loose. Had it with a Mazda and my current 9000. I read from a reliable source (I think it was a car service magazine or something like that)that you should put all lugs back on, back off one turn or so each, then drive slowly in a sharp corner like a driveway, or just turn the wheel back and move the steering wheel back and forth a little. Worked like a charm, no damage to wheel.
Before reinstalling wheel, put a light coat of anti-seize on the back side of the wheel or mating face on the hub- you will be able to see where it was stuck. Put some on the lug nuts or studs, too. I should emphasize the light coat on the rim/ hub area. Others have suspected unusual vibrations due to excess thickness of anti-seize.
I would also perform this on the other wheels while it is more convenient.
As a funny note, same thing happened to a non-mechanical friend a few years ago. He removed all lug nuts, then removed the Large center nut (!) and still couldn't get the wheel off. After reinstalling the Large nut, the above procedure worked for him, too.
Good Luck
