If you want to remove the whole assy. start by opening the door, opening (dropping)the window. You will have to pry off the plastic triangle trim piece. It is held on by two plastic compression pieces about 10mm in diameter and a tab on the bottom which are molded as part of the trim. These fittings press into the the door/window frame on the longest side (upper) part of the triangle and they are a bitch to get to. I found the best way is to pry up near the glass track to gain access to inside the trim. Caution here as there is a tab on the bottom of this that hooks under the interior door trim. The trick is to get a needle-nose pliers to the compression fittings and gently squeeze them to release. They are located about an inch or two from the top and bottom of the trim piece. Clear as mud? There is just no easy way to describe or do this operation other than to tell you use a bright flashlight to get a look at your objective. Just be careful!
Once you remove the cover you will have to unplug the wiring to the adjustor and there is some foam insulation to peel back to gain access to three bolts or screws that hold the entire assy on. I'm sorry I can't recall if they are 10mm hex or torx. Once you get this far it should be obvious what's next.
email me if you like and I'll try to get more specific or we can hook up via phone. I just had these pieces out to install tweeters in them last week so this info is fresh.
