That's the story I gave my father when he gave up saabs and got a bmw 740iL. I have to admit his bmw is a very smooth riding car on the highway. There is absolutely no road or tire noise. The 4.4L v8 is probably one of the best engines out there. I really wish the viggen "B team" would've copied the lower a-arm design (one piece) of the older 9000. I can't believe someone who already had great suspension design in the C900 and 9000 would throw together what the did. That said..I was joking you with the old age stuff..and I'll have to agree with some of your observations. I still like my viggen as much as my spg.
