I just got done changing the OEM plugs at 30,000 miles on my 2001 9-3 base model.
I do mostly highway driving and the original plugs were PFR6H-10. 30,000 miles was the first time they were looked at, and they were in great condition. I considered just putting them back in, but since the change is required to maintain the warranty, I replaced them with the same type. (why change if the originals performed so well, even if I do mostly highway miles?) What impressed me the most about the PFR6H-10 plugs was that they showed no gap erosion at all. The 30,000 mile plugs measured .037" just like the new ones I installed.
