It took about 3 hours, but I was frustrated that it even took that long. Removing the old brace takes about 15 minutes - note the large GM stamped on the rubbery donut you remove - P.O.S. You then have to jack the car up, remove the right-front tire, and enlarge a hole (you'll need a drill and some dexterity) for the provided bolt to fit. As many will recommend you should use jack stands for this because you will be applying a good bit of pressure on the front end to get all the various pieces of the kit properly lined up.
The hardest part for me was getting all the holes and bolts lined up AT THE SAME TIME. Don't tighten anything any more than necessary until all bolts and nuts are on just a little bit, then you can torque it down tight. I had to remove everything once and reinstall it when I got overzealous about tightening things before I should have and couldn't get the end of the brace to line up with the enlarged hole behind the right-front tire.
The difference is awesome. The turn-in is much quicker and more precise - torque steer is significantly reduced. The Viggen would tend to "wander" back and forth under full load in 1st and 2nd gears and this is noticably reduced. I was able to tell a difference when I first took a slow drive around the neighborhood to make sure nothing was falling off. The steering just feels more solid and precise.
