I found thats its easier to remove the stereo first, then reach in the stereo opening and push it out from the back. That way there is no way to mar up the plastic on the dash if you slip or pry against it. The DIN removal tools for removing the stereo can be bought at any auto part store, if you are real adventurous you can make your own.
