17" Sport suspension worth it or not?

I've just ordered a fully loaded Linear with everything (one of the last one's out there with the Launch pkg) (Lease with GMS). (Un)Fortunately, it has the 17" wheel pkg. I don't mind the suspension and I really like how the wheels look but I'm worried about the road noise and life span on the tires (Pirelli PZero Rosso). In addition, this is going to be in Portland and I'm also concerned about the rain and snow traction. Since I'm leasing, I'd prefer not to have to put any more money into the car than I need to including winter tires/wheels. I'd rather have all-season HP tires I think. Anyone with any thoughts/pros/cons? The dealer says they might be able to switch them to 16" wheels (maybe on an Arc) at the time I pick it up.
