I bought two stock sized Pzero assymetric from gary moore. That was right around the time I tested clearance with a used 235/40 and considered using 235/40's. I put those tires on the front. Then, after getting a nail in one of the rear P6000 tires, I needed two more new tires. Given the low treadwear rating of the assymetrics (140) I went ahead and bought 235/40 Pzero "rosso". Come to find out.. they don't make Pzero assymetric in 235/40. Then good thing is the traction rating of the rosso's is "AA" with treadwear of 280. I can say the rear end went from a really bumpy ride to very smooth after installing the new 235's on the rear. I've had them on the rear with no problems. If you're serious about buying four 235/40 I could move the two 235's to the front and confirm clearance, ride, etc. As for 245, I don't think I'd try it on stock rims. Not to mention when I had the used test tire on the front there wasn't that much clearance between tire and spring seating area of the strut. click the link for a few more tire pics
