That sounds like the kind of thing that might covered under the uninsured motorist part of your policy. I should hope that the paint on a car that's only two years old hasn't faded, but even if it has, any competent paint shop can blend paint perfectly, so you'll never know that an accident happened. We have an older 1989 Civic with metallic paint that's had bits and pieces repainted over the years. I've never been able to tell where any body work has been done.
