Don't trust that someone driving along with their turn signal on actually intend to do what their signal is indicating! I learned that a LONG (long, long, long) time ago when I was 19 and got into my only ever accident - the guy in the Buick was blithely tooling along with his signal on, no intention of turning any time soon. I stopped him with my car, oopsie.
Lesson learned - I don't pull out until I see the car slowing and the tires turning, this is being a defensive driver.
Anyhow, sorry about your accident...I hope it works out OK. Always assume the drivers sharing the road around you are about to have a psychotic break from reality and will do something totally unexpected - they often do, and you need to drive accordingly. I'm a fast driver, but being cautious AND fast has saved my butt a few times. Concentrate on driving and always be aware of what's going on around you....don't mean to sound preachy but 3 accidents in less than a month - well, ya gotta change something!
Hang in there, hope your insurance doesn't get yanked.
