I agree with you about the 3rd gear thing. I once raced a 2001 Bullitt mustang. They have 260hp and something like 320lb-ft. It was a manual transmission. He had 2 passengers with him, I only had one. His girlfriend leaned out the window and laughed at me, and I downshifted and we both floored it at about the same time. I stayed right beside him from 60 to 120 in my 2001 9-3SE. I was actually surprised at how slow his car was, I thought I was going to get killed. They were so confused and embarrassed that they wouldn't even look at me anymore. I was pretty amused by the whole thing. I must say that 1st and 2nd gear leave a little to be desired but after that the HOT and especially the Viggen are quite fast. They probably wont ever beat cars like the EVO and the STi, but they are fun and different. I've already seen 2 evos, a 360 modena, numerous porsche 911s (Including 2 different 2001 911 Turbos), NSXs, etc. But I've only seen one Viggen on the road in my entire life!
