I'd wager to bet that I'd be just as thrilled with a Vector as I would with a Viggen. There is a big part of me that just doesn't need any more performance, and the thought of a turbo V6 with AWD in the 9-3 platform doesn't appeal to me in the same way a well-designed, efficient 4 cylinder does. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to play around with this future Viggen that I've described, but I doubt that I would buy one based on the kind of driving that I do. But, seeing the success of the BMW M-line, MB AMG stuff, Audi's S products, etc., just makes me think that buyers are more concerned with having a performance image that these special letters designate rather than choosing a car that fits their needs. Maybe I'm crazy...and hypocritical for having a Viggen when it's clearly more performance than I need. I just think that I'm at my limit with it, and don't need a big V8, 19" wheels, and other go-fast bits to make me feel good about myself. Wow...that's really off-topic now, isn't it? Sorry...
Point well taken though...Viggen numbers tend to be better than Vector numbers.
Cheers,
Mark
