And about the Castrol FakeTec(tm)
It is, as are most of the '''synthetic''' oils on the shelf, not a true synthetic, but a highly hydrocracked dyno oil. Its not the same.
These group III dyno oils are mostly priced similar to the Mobil One products. So if you are spending the money for a syntheic oil, get a real Group IV oil and get Mobil One. Do not subsidize this group III ripoff!
If you want a really good group III oil, get a gallon of Rotella Synthetic 5W40 for $12.88US at Walmart. At least it is priced fairly for what you get. This is a really good diesel engine oil, that meets the latest specs for gas engines as well, as printed on the API donut.
