Use premium fuel, highest octane pump gas you can find. Fill when near empty. Note any changes.

If that does not fix the knocking, you could try 1/2 gallon of toluene in a tank of premium to see if things respond to higher octane. That will raise the octane by around one full cotane number. Use a gasoline container to put it in, you can't pour from the can it comes in and you don't want this on your paint. Xylene can be used too, or a 50:50 mix. Around $10/gal in paint stores. Smaller cans in hardware stores are a rip. Off the shelf octane boosters are a joke. When they talk about increasing octane 6 points for example, they are talking 6/10ths of an octane level. No you cannot live adding that alll the time, but you can do this once to judge the affect of higher octane on your problem.

Otherwise it starts and runs well, good power and boost?

Check to see if there is a resistance to ground from the O2 sensor bases to the negative battery connector. You may need to brighten metal to get a good contact. You will need a good DVM for this. The sensors get their ground via the exhaust system.. which is stupid, but a common practice. If you find a resistance, find were it is and deal with that. The sensors can be backed out a little and wet/dry sandpaper folded over can brighen things in the gap and the sensor can be reseated. I am wondering if the AF mixture is a bit out because of a O2 sensor signal been off a bit.

Also check for any damage to the hose from the TB to the MAP sensor. That is a very critical hose.
