I just read the edmunds follow up on the Vector. I Drive an 03 Arc and love it. I have the 6 speed as well, and I have to say that while the car is great, the synchros need some work. The 1-2 and 2-3 upshift require a lot of finesse to properly shift, and I think that may have been a problem.

Also, there is a test note at the end of the Road & Track Vector review (Oct issue) that says the Vector's 0-6- times were hurt by the fact that the 2-3 upshift occursright before 60mph.

As for the TSX, it has an awesome 6 speed, but overall the car looked and felt too generic for me. I had been driving a Honda Civic and IMHO the TSX felt like a spruced up Civic or Accord.

I love my 9-3 Arc and would do it again in a heartbeat.
