After posting initial results of the anticipator setup, problems arose:
The Air Pressure Regulator I has originally selected had a turn knob with no way to lock it down at the setting I wanted, therefore, it tended to drift creating boost pressure drops. I exchanged it for a diaphragm style Air Pressure Regulator. While I don't think it will be the end all be all best selection, it works much better than the original APR. This one has a turn knob with a lock down feature. The gauge goes from 0-120 (or 160) which might still not get the sensitivity needed for the application, but first impressions of this APR are much better than the original APR. It has remained at the setting desired without drift.
I adjusted the MBC to a higher setting allowing more boost without fuel cuts. The gauge rises and holds 1/2 way or even a touch more into red. Three runs with this set up with no fuel cuts. BUT...on the fourth trial, I stomped on it after holding at 90mph, 3100 prms, boost gauge in white, and the gauge rose extremely quickly, boosting to the end of the red zone then backing off to middle to upper red and holding there for 2-3 seconds, then BAM, fuel cut. Maybe you can explain Dean, I'm a bit baffled on this. Maybe the MBC setting is above the 15 to 16psi threshold. I should probably get a dedicated boost gauge to better understand where I'm at.
