I have a 2003 Vector, have driven it for two months. I am coming from a Audi A4, which set the benchmark standard in sports sedans in my eyes. The reason I did not buy another one is I wanted a change and Saab discounting was too good. Okay, here is my quick review.
Handling : Excellent
Ride: Harsh , but I knew this buying a Vector model.
Engine: Excellent, slight turbo lag. ( Should be somewhere near 250hp+ )
Quality: Ok, too many rattles and not up to German Standards.
US Vs. Euro Models: They get all the good stuff and the US gets Onstar shoved down our throats.
The biggest problem is that most of us 9-3 SS owners know more about the cars then the dealers and service managers. I shouldn't have to tell my service manager that there is a truck switch under the Saab emblem on the truck and that my car IS capable of Comfort Close. All and all you can't find a car this good looking for $30K that no one has.
