OK. I am not going to discuss with you. My point is you add power to the engine you need to be able to stop the car. Because, obviously it will have more torque and acelarate faster. In other words you will jump on the rear bumper of the car in front of you faster so you need to stop faster.
Now if he is adding power to the engine for the purpose of auto-x the car over weekends or Solo I the car on a race track then the brakes will get very hot very fast.
On a race car you remove weight, improve suspension, engine, transmission, add safety equipment and improve brakes. You need to be able to stop the car like NOW.
