I have never addressed this with Saab tech services but on the 9-3ss I was told that torque was limited to keep the car from tearing up the motor mounts. I don't think the trans would be the weak link because it would have to be strong enough to go from spinning tires on ice(tcs off) to dry pavement. If you are concerned you could add an orifice in the clutch hydraulic circuit. A very slight delay can save the driveline. We used to do this on pro rally cars with some success.
