but I learned to develop a feel for it over time and as the car aged, did not push it as hard anymore. The SAS changed my steering dynamics, not necessarily for the worse, just different. I too suspect there is a usable life to those OEM rubber bushes and Dean and I were both beyond that with our aging cars.
One thing I discovered with the SAS, is to keep it tight (bolts) and not to use the factory fasteners...upsize them to 10mm with new nuts and washers. Once the SAS is loose, the car will get squirrely.
After driving my 00 SE today, I hopped in my 94 SE (which seems a good bit quicker) and offers better feel in the steering. It may be partly because of the SAS. My 00 is bone stock.
