viggen tramlining

I just purchased a 1999 viggen, so far I love the car, especially when I engage the warp drive:o The car seems to "tramline" quite a bit though, if thats the right word. Basically the front end seems to squirt around when going over certain imperfect roads, more so at lower speeds. The previous owner installed an Abbot Racing Viggen rescue kit, which I thought got rid of tramlining. I checked the various parts of the rescue kit, everything seems tight. The car has 17x8 BBS Rk IIs with 235/40 PZero Rosso Asimmetrico tires, which have a bit of a reputation for following the road. I'm wondering if the bigger rubber is conspiring to make the front end a bit darty, or maybe a good alignment is in order.
P.S. Any recommendations for tire pressure, the car had 28/28 when I got it, I've jacked it up to 35/33, which cured some of the dartyness, especially under power.
Thanks,
Rob
