I had no problems with mine. My '02 has the LATCH anchors, not sure about the '01. If yes, use them! They're great. If you're baby seats don't have the latch strap, you can buy the strap separately at Babies R Us. Anyhow, just stick them in there and decide for yourself if you need to adjust the angle of the seat. Some model baby seats come with adjustable angle bases and a level indicator if you're not comfortable with the old towel and eyeball method.
