If you are even basically competent with tools these are two upgrades you can do yourself in your driveway. The SAS bar is a 4-bolt replacement sway bar and will remove a great deal of body roll during cornering. This is a must. GenuineSaab (site sponsor) has a similiar part.
The KIC brace replaces the soft rubber GM donut that holds the steering rack in place. It consists of an aluminum clamp that holds the steering rack more firmly in place and a brace that sits between the clamp and firewall to remove firewall flex when you nail the gas. The Kic brace was $400 when I purchased it and is cheaper now. It does add quite a bit of feedback into the steering wheel on rough surfaces. There is an alternative but similar kit being offered by MP Performance (do searches on this board) that I believe may be cheaper and has some padding in the clamp to damp some of the feedback.
Both of these steering rack kits are knock-offs from the pieces that were originally available in the Abbott Viggen Rescue Kit.
