I asked this question a couple weeks ago on the general board. They pointed me to a company called blitzsafe (blitzsafe.com I believe), they have all sorts of car electronic goodies. They have an aux in adapter which you can hook up to your 9-3 head unit, which fools the head unit into thinking it is a CD changer. You can leave an aux in cable plugged into the adapter which you tuck behind the dash, and snake the cable out so you can plug it into your iPod whenever you enter the car. There are some examples of how this has been done on other cars, notably an Acura MDX. It can look pretty slick if done right. It's on my list of things to do.
