I was at TWS (Texas World Speedway) at a Driver's Edge event. I was WOT in third gear exiting turn 15 onto the front straight. Those were facts; here's where the speculation begins. I must've attempted shifting from third to fourth, but, since the car was hard in the turn and at WOT, I caught second instead of fourth. Dump the clutch...overrev...valves don't close in time and...silence...coast to a stop.
