Hello all,
My Saab always seems to be a thorn at the most inoportune times. Here is all that happened. Today I ran the a/c it wasn't cold at all. So I got a refill kit and added about 5 to 10 psi, so that it went up to about 40. Check it to make sure, it's still at 40psi. Then I go out, drive and the a/c works great. Fantastic I think to myself. Yet no condensation is leaking out the bottom, for example a little water. I think that is odd. Now the tough one. I go to leave a friend's house and it will not start. You can hear the starter motor, you can hear the clicking. The belt even goes around like it should. But, it just won't turn over. We tried jumping the battery, even though I didn't think it needed to be as all the lights were very bright and the battery is only 25k miles old and about 9 months old. Still, nothing. Check the PSI on the a/c. It's at 105psi. That's awful. Why would it do it? Is the a/c causing it? We got the psi down to 30 and it still won't start. By that point the car was cooling down. What is it? Is it something electrical or is it defintely the a/c? Tell me what you guys think, cause this time I am absolutely clueless. Thank you.
