"I've ordered some new Pirelli Pzero Nero M&S tires to replace...."

I wanted to put this on the front of the board again so everyone can see the problem and perhaps I can get a response from others as well. Jonny

I installed the very same tires as you on my 99 9-3 SE a few months ago. I like them a lot but a problem I have run into is that the fronts will rub in the wheel wells when fully cranking the steering wheel one way or the other. The other issue is that when my car is loaded with 2-3 people in the back (or a heavy load in the trunk), it will also rub on the left rear tire when hitting dips in the road. I have 17" Fondmetal rims that they say are correct for this car and model, so I don't know where the problem lies. On the left rear, it actually caught the outside of the tire so bad that it pulled out the "bend" in the side panel in front of the wheel (it actually pointed towards the tire, almost looking like a knife edge, cutting into the outside part of the tire). I had to bend it back using a rubber mallet. Wonder how it will fit in your wheel wells since you have lower suspension than I have.... Please let me know when you have gotten them installed.
Have anyone else had problems when going to 225 tires? From what I had read here before I purchased mine, there were no problems, but at least with this post I have logged the problems I am experiencing (note that it is with the 225 size M+S tires as opposed to the 225 summer tires).
