225/45/17 vs 215/45/17 on Viggen

I've ordered some new Pirelli Pzero Nero M&S tires to replace the OEM Pirelli P6000 that have 31k on them and are nearly bald.
I took the advice of several posters on this forum in moving up to 225 tires vice the OEM 215 for some more rim protection.
Guy at NTB told me it would throw off the spedometer a bit, which I don't doubt.
My questions are these: For those of you that have done this (225 from 215), have you noticed a big difference in spedo readings? Did you have the spedo re-calibrated?
Thanks in advance!
