??? This sounds strange. It sounds like you are pressing the buttons on the FOB every time you put the key in the ignition? That in itself may be messing with the computer. I've only seen that message on the # of keys & FOB's when I wanted to, cant remember how, I think I press the buttons while in the ignition. Will the FOB unlock the doors from outside? or Lock when you leave? Try a different key, and stop pressing the buttons when in the ignition. Have you ever received the "replace FOB battery" message?
I would also try to avoid using the buttons on the FOB at all for a while and see what happens, and use the key normally to lock/unlock. May also be as simple as new battery in your FOB.
Speaking of wich, does ANYONE what FOB stands for??? :-)
