I don't know whether you owned yours from new (in other words: did you put all 52,000 miles on that clutch), so I'll phrase this a bit more carefully :)
When I was told my clutch was gone at 55K, only 13K of those were mine, so I assumed the wear was caused by excessive clutch use by the previous owner and yes, that did seem early to me.
I put 35K on that second clutch before selling the car, and my indy told me that the clutch still felt like new.
I do accept that, if you are a 'sporty' driver, a Viggen clutch is under more strain than a clutch in a base 9-3 with a sedate driver, so I guess we should not expect much more than 60K, even if we don't 'ride' the clutch for more than a half second during gearshifts.
